The Charities Act 2011 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2017

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 29 of Schedule 9 to the Charities Act 2011( 1 ):

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Charities Act 2011 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2017.

Commencement

2. The day appointed as the relevant commencement date for the purposes of paragraph 26(2) of Schedule 9 to the Charities Act 2011 (transitory modifications relating to CIOs), as it relates to sections 228 to 234 in Part 11 of that Act (conversion of certain bodies to CIOs), is 1st January 2018.
