The Education and Adoption Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2017

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 19(2) of the Education and Adoption Act 2016( 1 ), makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education and Adoption Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2017.

Provisions coming into force on 11th January 2017

2. The following provisions of the Education and Adoption Act 2016 come into force on 11th January 2017:

(a) section 1 (coasting schools) for all remaining purposes;

(b) section 16 (consequential repeals) so far as it repeals provisions of the Apprenticeship, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009( 2 ) and the Education Act 2011( 3 ).
