Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 28(1) of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004( 1 ), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Fire and Rescue Services (Appointment of Inspector) (England) (Revocation) Order 2017 and comes into force on 26th July 2017.

Revocation of appointment

2. The Fire and Rescue Services (Appointment of Inspector) (England) Order 2013( 2 ) is revoked.

2004 c. 21 ; section 28(1) was amended by section 11 of the Policing and Crime Act 2017 (c. 3) . The amendments were brought into force by S.I. 2017/726 (C. 57) with a saving for the purpose of revoking the appointment of an inspector in relation to fire and rescue authorities in England.
