The Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008 (Commencement No.16) Order 2018

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 62(3) of the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008 (Commencement No.16) Order 2018.

Appointed Day

2. Section 27 of the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008 (which prevents a non-resident parent from having a United Kingdom passport)( 2 ) comes into force on—

(a) the day after the day on which this Order is made for the purpose of making regulations; and

(b) 14th December 2018 for all other purposes.
