The Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Act 2018 (Commencement) Regulations 2018

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred by section 27(2) of the Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Act 2018( 1 ), makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Act 2018 (Commencement) Regulations 2018.

Provisions coming into force on 1st January 2019

2. The following provisions of the Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Act 2018 come into force on 1st January 2019—

(a) section 6 (production of permits and inspection of vehicles);

(b) section 7 (prohibition notices); and

(c) section 8 (offences: breach of regulations etc ).
