The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 47(2) of the Technical and Further Education Act 2017( 1 ).

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Technical and Further Education Act 2017 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2018.

Provisions coming into force on 9th February 2018

2. The following provisions of the Technical and Further Education Act 2017 come into force on 9th February 2018—

(a) section 1(5) so far as it relates to the provisions brought into force by sub-paragraph (b) (to the extent that they are brought into force by that sub-paragraph);

(b) in Schedule 1—

(i) paragraph 1 so far as it relates to paragraphs 3(1) (to the extent that paragraph 3(1) is brought into force by this sub-paragraph) and 3(2);

(ii) paragraph 3(1) so far as it relates to paragraph 3(2); and

(iii) paragraph 3(2).
