The Coroners and Justice Act 2009 (Commencement No. 18) Order 2018

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 182(5) of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009( 1 ):

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 (Commencement No. 18) Order 2018.

Commencement of provisions of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009

2. The following provisions of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 come into force on 16th July 2018 —

(a) section 177(1) so far as it relates to the provisions specified in sub-paragraph (c);

(b) paragraphs 2(3) and 3 of Schedule 16 (extension of driving disqualification); and

(c) paragraphs 90(1) and (2) and (6) to (9) and 91 of Schedule 21 (minor and consequential amendments).
