The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992( 1 ).
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Hartpury College of Further Education (Designated Institution in Further Education) Order 2018 and comes into force on 1st August 2018.
2. Hartpury College of Further Education( 2 ), being an educational institution of the kind described in subsections (1) and (2) of section 28 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992, is designated as an institution for the purposes of that section.

1992 c. 13 ; section 28(1) was amended by section 143(1)(a) of the Learning and Skills Act 2000 (c. 21) and section 28(2)(a) was amended by the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (c. 31) , Schedule 30, paragraph 38. Section 28(2)(b) was repealed by the Learning and Skills Act 2000, section 143(1)(b), section 153 and Schedule 11. Section 28(2)(d) was inserted by the Learning and Skills Act 2000, section 143(1)(c).
Hartpury College of Further Education, whose address is Hartpury College, Hartpury House, Gloucester, GL19 3BE, is an institution conducted by a registered company with company number 11180792 and with the name Hartpury College, which it has resolved to change to Hartpury College of Further Education.
