The Investigatory Powers Act 2016 (Commencement No. 6) Regulations 2018

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 272(1) of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016( 1 ).

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 (Commencement No. 6) Regulations 2018.

Appointed Day

2. Paragraphs 1, 2, 4, 8 to 10, 13 and 14 of Schedule 8 to the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 (combined warrants that may be issued on application of an intelligence service or the Chief of Defence Intelligence) come into force on 6th July 2018 for all remaining purposes.
