The Guardianship (Missing Persons) Act 2017 (Commencement) Regulations 2019

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 25(3) of the Guardianship (Missing Persons) Act 2017( 1 ), makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Guardianship (Missing Persons) Act 2017 (Commencement) Regulations 2019.

Provisions coming into force on 19th June 2019

2. The following provisions of the Guardianship (Missing Persons) Act 2017 come into force on 19th June 2019—

(a) section 22 (codes of practice); and

(b) section 23 (the court).

Provisions coming into force on 31st July 2019

3. Subject to regulation 2, the Guardianship (Missing Persons) Act 2017, so far as not already in force, comes into force on 31st July 2019.
