The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 3(3) of the Organ Donation (Deemed Consent) Act 2019( 1 ).

Citation

Provisions coming into force on 1st October 2019

(a) section 1(1) (“appropriate consent” to adult transplantation activities: England) so far as is necessary for the purpose of paragraph (b);

(b) section 1(5) (definitions) for the purpose of making regulations;

(c) section 2(1) (consequential amendments) so far as it relates to section 2(5) to (7);

(d) section 2(5) to (7).
