The Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2019

Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 3(3)(b) of the Terrorism Act 2000( 1 ).
In accordance with section 123(4)(a) of that Act, a draft of this Order was laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2019 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
Deproscribed organisation
2. In Schedule 2 to the Terrorism Act 2000 (proscribed organisations) , omit “Libyan Islamic Fighting Group”( 2 ).

2000 c. 11 ; section 3 was amended by sections 21 and 22 of the Terrorism Act 2006 (c. 11) .
“Libyan Islamic Fighting Group” was added to Schedule 2 by S.I. 2005/2892 ; there are other amending instruments but none is relevant.
