The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1(1) and (4A) of the Consular Fees Act 1980( 1 ) is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

Citation and commencement

1. This order may be cited as the Consular Fees (Amendment) Order 2019 and comes into force on 16th February 2019.

Amendment of the Consular Fees Order 2012

2. —(1) The table in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Consular Fees Order 2012( 2 ) (table of general consular fees) is amended as follows.

(2) In row 19, in column 2, after “Emergency Travel Document” insert “(in addition to direct costs, if any)”.

(3) In row 20, in column 2, after “Emergency Travel Document” insert “(in addition to direct costs, if any)”.

(4) At the end of the table insert —

1980 c.23 . Subsection (4A) was inserted by section 36 of the Identity Cards Act 2006 (c.15) and continues to have effect by virtue of section 1(3) of the Identity Documents Act 2010 (c.40) subject to the consequential amendments made by paragraph 2 of the Schedule to that Act.
