Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The requirements of paragraph 3(2) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018( 1 ) (relating to the appropriate Parliamentary procedure for these Regulations) have been satisfied.

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of that Act( 2 ).

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations made be cited as the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 and come into force on exit day.

Revocations

2. Regulation (EU) No. 1290/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the rules for participation and dissemination in Horizon 2020 – the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020) is revoked.

3. Regulation (EU) No. 1291/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing Horizon 2020 – the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020) is revoked.

4. Council establishing the specific programme implementing Horizon 2020 – the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020) is revoked. Decision 2013/743/EU
