The Geo-Blocking Regulation (Revocation) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018( 1 ).
In accordance with paragraph 1(3) of Schedule 7 to that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
Citation and commencement
1. โ(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Geo-Blocking Regulation (Revocation) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019.
(2) These Regulations come into force on the later ofโ
(a) exit day; or
(b) 21 days after the day on which they are made.
Revocation of Regulation (EU) No. 2018/302
2. Regulation (EU) No. 2018/302 of the European Parliament and of the Council on addressing unjustified geo-blocking and other forms of discrimination based on customersโ nationality, place of residence or place of establishment within the internal market and amending Regulations Directive 2009/22/EC
Consequential provision
3.The Geo-Blocking (Enforcement) Regulations 2018( 2 ) are revoked.
