The Utilities Act 2000 (Amendment of Section 105) Order 2019

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 105(7) of the Utilities Act 2000( 1 ).
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Utilities Act 2000 (Amendment of Section 105) Order 2019 and comes into force on 1st July 2019.
Amendment of the Utilities Act 2000
2. In section 105(3) of the Utilities Act 2000( 2 ) (general restrictions on disclosure of information), after paragraph (aza) insert—
“ (azb) it is made for the purpose of facilitating the performance of any functions of the Authority ( 3 ) under the Domestic Gas and Electricity (Tariff Cap) Act 2018 ( 4 ) ; ” .

The term “Authority” is defined in section 106(1) of the Utilities Act 2000.
