The Control of Salmonella in Poultry (Amendment) Order 2019

Coming into force in accordance with article 1

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 8 of the Animal Health Act 1981( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Salmonella in Poultry (Amendment) Order 2019 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Amendment of the Control of Salmonella in Poultry Order 2007

2. In article 3 of the Control of Salmonella in Poultry Order 2007( 2 ), before paragraph (a), insert—

(za) Regulation (EC) No 2160/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the control of salmonella and other food-borne zoonotic agents ( 3 ) ; .
