The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 41(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2020(1).
Citation and commencementI1
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Consequential Amendments) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 and come into force immediately before IP completion day.

2. In regulations 4(2)(b), 5(2), 9(2)(b) and 10(2) of the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) (Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018(2), for “exit day” substitute “IP completion day”.
