The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 128 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005( 1 ), makes the following Order:
Citation, commencement and extent
1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites) (Amendment) Order 2020 and comes into force on 31st January 2020.
(2) Subject to paragraph (3), this Order extends to England and Wales and Northern Ireland.
(3) Article 3 extends to England and Wales only.
Amendment of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites) Order 2005
2. —(1)The Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites) Order 2005( 2 ) is amended as follows.
(2) In the Schedule—
(a) in the appropriate places insert—
(i) “Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, Porton Down”;
(ii) “RAF Molesworth”;
(iii) “RAF Waddington”;
(b) omit “Sea Mounting Centre Marchwood”.
Amendment of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites under Section 128) Order 2007
3. —(1)The Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites under Section 128) Order 2007( 3 ) is amended as follows.
(2) In article 2(1), omit sub-paragraph (d).
