The Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) (Amendment) Order 2020

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(2) of the Armed Forces (Pensions and Compensation) Act 2004( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) (Amendment) Order 2020 and comes into force on 6th April 2020.

Amendment of the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) Order 2011

2.The Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) Order 2011( 2 ) is amended in accordance with articles 3 and 4.

Amendment of article 24A

3. In article 24A (award of armed forces independence payment)( 3 ), in paragraph (3), for “£148.85” substitute “£151.40”.

Amendment of article 24D

4. In article 24D (payment of armed forces independence payment in respect of Motability)( 4 ), in paragraph (2), for “£61.20” substitute “£62.25”.
