The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 3(1), 6(1) and 7(2) of Schedule 1A to the Administration of Estates Act 1925( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Administration of Estates Act 1925 (Fixed Net Sum) Order 2020 and comes into force on 6th February 2020.

Fixed Net Sum

2. The fixed net sum referred to in paragraph (B) of case (2) of the Table in section 46(1)(i) of the Administration of Estates Act 1925( 2 ) is to be £270,000.
