The Coronavirus Act 2020 (Commencement No. 2) Regulations 2020

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 87(2) of the Coronavirus Act 2020( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.

Citation and application

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Coronavirus Act 2020 (Commencement No. 2) Regulations 2020.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to England only.

Provision coming into force on 31st March 2020

2. Section 15 (local authority care and support) of, and Part 1 of Schedule 12 (powers and duties of local authorities in England) to, the Coronavirus Act 2020 come into force on 31st March 2020.
