The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 13(2) and 36(2)(a) of the Offender Management Act 2007( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Offender Management Act 2007 (Coronavirus) (Approved Premises) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and shall come into force at 12.01 a.m. on 6th April 2020.

Amendment to the Offender Management Act 2007 (Approved Premises) Regulations 2014

2. In the definition of “licence” in regulation 4 (interpretation) of the Offender Management Act 2007 (Approved Premises) Regulations 2014( 2 ), after “rule 9” insert “or rule 9A”.
