M1 The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 , makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement I1

1. This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (TEC Partnership) Order 2020 and shall come into force on 1st August 2020.

Competence to grant awards I2

[F12. TEC Partnership shall be competent to grant foundation degree only awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(a) and defined under section 42(3) of the said Act for a fixed term beginning on 1st August 2020 and expiring on 31st October 2024. F1]

[F2 3. TEC Partnership shall be competent to grant up to and including bachelorโ€™s degree awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(c) of the said Act for a fixed term beginning on 1st August 2021 and expiring on 31st October 2024. F2]
