Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018( 1 ) makes the following Regulations.

The requirements of paragraph 3(2) of Schedule 7 to that Act (relating to the appropriate Parliamentary procedure for these Regulations) have been satisfied.

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Single Digital Gateway Regulation (Revocation) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 and come into force on IP completion day.

Revocation of provisions in Regulation (EU) 2018/1724

2. In Regulation (EU) 2018/1724Regulation (EU) No 1024/2012

(a) Articles 1 to 5;

(b) Articles 7 to 12;

(c) Articles 14(9) and (11);

(d) Articles 16 to 37;

(e) Article 39.

Revocation of provision in Regulation (EU) 1024/2012

3. In Regulation (EU) No 1024/2012the IMI Regulation’), omit paragraph 12 of the Annex.
