The Airports (Designation) (Removal and Disposal of Vehicles) (Amendment) Order 2021

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 66(1) and (5) of the Airports Act 1986( 1 ) and after consultation with the operator of Newcastle airport in accordance with sub-section (4) of that section.

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Airports (Designation) (Removal and Disposal of Vehicles) (Amendment) Order 2021 and comes into force on 1st March 2021.

Designation

2. In Schedule 1 to the Airports (Designation) (Removal and Disposal of Vehicles) Order 1990( 2 ) (which lists airports designated for the purposes of section 66 of the Airports Act 1986) insert (at the appropriate place in alphabetical order) the following entry—

Newcastle .
