The Pension Schemes Act 2021 (Commencement No. 5) Regulations 2021

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 131(1) and (4) of the Pension Schemes Act 2021( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.

Citation and extent

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Pension Schemes Act 2021 (Commencement No. 5) Regulations 2021.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales and Scotland.

Commencement of provisions

2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Pension Schemes Act 2021 is 13th December 2021—

(a) paragraphs 13 and 23 to 25 of Schedule 3 (collective money purchase benefits: minor and consequential amendments);

(b) paragraph 11 of that Schedule only insofar as it relates to paragraph 13 of that Schedule; and

(c) section 48 (minor and consequential amendments) only insofar as it relates to the provisions commenced by sub-paragraphs (a) and (b).
