The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 10(1) and 11a(3) of Council Regulation 1 ).

Citation, commencement and extent

1. These Regulations may be cited as the FLEGT Licensing Scheme (Council Regulation

2. These Regulations extend to Great Britain only.

Amendment of Council Regulation (EC) No 2173/2005

3. —(1) Council Regulation 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In Article 1(3), after “partner countries”, insert “listed in Annex 1”.

(3) In Article 2—

(a) in paragraph 2, after “Agreement” insert “, as listed in Annex 1”;

(b) in paragraph 4, after “scheme” insert “, as listed in Annex 1”.

(4) Before Annex 2 insert—
