The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9(1) of the Civil Liability Act 2018( 1 ), make the following Regulations:

Citation and Commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as The Civil Liability (Specification of Authorised Persons) Regulations 2021 and come into force on 31st May 2021.

Regulated persons in relation to the Financial Conduct Authority

2. Regulation 3 specifies the description of authorised persons for the purposes of the entry in column 2 of the table in section 9(1) of the Civil Liability Act 2018 corresponding to the Financial Conduct Authority.

3. The description is all authorised persons dealing with whiplash claims.
