In exercise of the powers conferred by section 81(4) of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021( 1 ), the Secretary of State makes the following Regulations.

Citation, commencement and extent

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (Processing of Victims’ Data for Immigration Purposes) (Extension of Relevant Period) Regulations 2021.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 29th June 2021.

(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Extension of relevant period

2. The relevant period, as provided for in section 81(3) of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (review of processing of victims’ personal data for immigration purposes), is extended until the end of 29th December 2021.
