The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 408, 537A and 569(4) of the Education Act 1996( 1 ).
In accordance with section 408(5) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted with those persons with whom the Secretary of State considered consultation to be desirable.
Citation, commencement, extent and application
(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.
(3) These Regulations apply in relation to England only.
Amendment of the Education (School Performance Information) (England) Regulations 2007
2. β(1)The Education (School Performance Information) (England) Regulations 2007( 2 ) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2(1) (interpretation), in sub-paragraph (i) of the definition of βreporting school yearβ after β2020-21β insert βor 2021-22β.

Section 537A was inserted by section 20 of the Education Act 1997 and substituted by paragraph 153 of Schedule 30 to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 and amended by S.I. 2010/1158 and S.I. 2012/976 .
S.I. 2007/2324 . These Regulations were amended insofar as relevant by S.I. 2012/1274 , S.I. 2013/1759 and S.I. 2020/844 .
