The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 62A(1), (2)(b) and (3)(b) of the Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and extent

1. β€”(1) This Order may be cited as the Compulsory Electronic Monitoring Licence Condition (Amendment) Order 2022 and comes into force on 26th October 2022.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Amendments to the Compulsory Electronic Monitoring Licence Condition Order 2021

2. β€”(1)The Compulsory Electronic Monitoring Licence Condition Order 2021( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In article 2(b)(i) (qualifying offender), for β€œ12 months” substitute β€œ90 days” .
