The Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) (Amendment) Regulations 2022

Citation, commencement and extent
1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into force at the end of the period of one week beginning with the day on which they are registered in the Royal Court of Jersey.
(2) These Regulations extend to Jersey.
Amendments to the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) Regulations 2010
2. —(1)The Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) Regulations 2010( 3 ) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 3 (fees for criminal conviction certificates, criminal record certificates and enhanced criminal record certificates)—
(a) in sub-paragraph (a), for “£23”, substitute “£18” ;
(b) in sub-paragraph (b), for “£23”, substitute “£18” ;
(c) in sub-paragraph (c), for “£40”, substitute “£38” .

1997 c. 50 . Section 112(1)(b) was substituted in Scotland by S.S.I. 2006/50 leaving the original in force in England and Wales. Sections 113A and 113B were inserted by section 163(2) of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (c. 15) , and amended by paragraph 1 of Schedule 8 of the Policing and Crime Act 2009 (c. 26) , by section 80(1) of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (c. 9) and by S.I. 2012/3006 . There are other amending instruments but none are relevant.
S.I. 2010/765 . Article 3 extended sections 112A, 113A. 113B and 125 of the Police Act 1997 to Jersey with modifications. The modifications are made in Schedule 1 of the 2010 Order. The Order was amended by 2012/2591.
S.I. 2010/1087 . Regulation 3 was substituted by S.I. 2019/1274 .
