The Dormant Assets Act 2022 (Commencement) Regulations 2022

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(3) of the Dormant Assets Act 2022( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.

Citation and extent

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Dormant Assets Act 2022 (Commencement) Regulations 2022.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Commencement

2. The Dormant Assets Act 2022 comes into force on 6th June 2022 in so far as it is not already in force.
