The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 99(1) and (2) of the Traffic Management Act 2004( 1 ).

Citation and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Traffic Management Act 2004 (Commencement No. 11) (England) Order 2022.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Commencement of provision

2.Section 58(2) (inspection fees) of the Traffic Management Act 2004, except for the words “, or pay the prescribed fee,” in the substituted paragraph (6) of section 75 (inspection fees) of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991( 2 ), comes into force as respects England on 17th June 2022.
