The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 208(1) of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.

Citation, extent and application

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 (Commencement No. 1 and Transitional Provision) (Amendment) Regulations 2022.

(2) These Regulations extend and apply to England and Wales only, subject as follows.

(3) Regulation 2(a) extends to England and Wales and Scotland.

Amendment of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 (Commencement No.1 and Transitional Provision) Regulations 2022

2. In regulation 5 of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 (Commencement No.1 and Transitional Provision) Regulations 2022( 2 ) (provisions coming into force on 28th June 2022)—

(a) in paragraph (i) for “73(1) to (6)” substitute “73(1) to (4)” ;

(b) in paragraph (j) for “73(7)” substitute “73(5)” ;

(c) in paragraph (q) after “section 152” insert “and Schedule 13” .
