The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 205(1) and (2) of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022( 1 ).
In accordance with section 205(5) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations was laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
Citation, commencement and extent
1. β(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 (Consequential Provision) Regulations 2022 and come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.
(2) These Regulations extend to the United Kingdom.
Section 47AA of the Terrorism Act 2000
2. β(1)Section 47AA of the Terrorism Act 2000( 2 ) is amended as follows.
(2) In the heading, after β43Aβ insert β, 43Cβ .
(3) In subsection (1)(a), for βand 43Aβ substitute β, 43A and 43Cβ .
