The Professional Qualifications Act 2022 (Commencement No. 1) Regulations 2022

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 21(4)(c) and (d) of the Professional Qualifications Act 2022( 1 ), makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Professional Qualifications Act 2022 (Commencement No. 1) Regulations 2022.

Extent

2. These regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Commencement

3. The following provisions of the Professional Qualifications Act 2022 come into force on 28th October 2022—

(a) section 9 (duty of regulator to provide information to regulator in another part of the United Kingdom); and

(b) section 10 (duty of regulator to provide information to overseas regulator), in so far as it is not already in force.
