The Health and Care Act 2022 (Commencement No. 7) Regulations 2023

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 186(6) and (7) of the Health and Care Act 2022( 1 ).

Citation and extent

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health and Care Act 2022 (Commencement No. 7) Regulations 2023.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

Provisions coming into force on 1st October 2023

2. The following provisions of the Health and Care Act 2022( 2 ) come into force on 1st October 2023—

(a) sections 109 to 135 (the HSSIB);

(b) section 169 (medical examiners), except subsection (5);

(c) Schedules 13 to 15 (the HSSIB; exceptions to the prohibition on disclosure of HSSIB material; consequential amendments relating to the HSSIB).
