The Trade Union Act 2016 (Commencement No. 6) Regulations 2023
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Trade Union Act 2016( ).
Citation and extent
1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Trade Union Act 2016 (Commencement No. 6) Regulations 2023.
(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales and Scotland.
Provision coming into force on 9th May 2024
2.Section 15 of the Trade Union Act 2016 (Restriction on deduction of union subscriptions from wages in public sector), to the extent that it is not already in force, comes into force on 9th May 2024.
