The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 7 of Schedule 4 and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018( 1 ).
In accordance with paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 7 to that Act, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
In accordance with paragraph 10 of Schedule 4 to that Act, the Treasury have consented to the making of these Regulations.
Citation, commencement, extent and application
1. β(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Plant Health etc. (Miscellaneous Fees) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2023.
(2) They come into force on 30th December 2023.
(3) They extend to England and Wales, but apply in relation to England only.
Amendment to the Plant Health (Fees) (Forestry) (England and Scotland) Regulations 2015
2. β(1)The Plant Health (Fees) (Forestry) (England and Scotland) Regulations 2015( 2 ) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 3 (fees), in paragraph (5D), for β31st December 2023β substitute β30th June 2025β .
Amendment to the Plant Health etc. (Fees) (England) Regulations 2018
3. β(1)The Plant Health etc. (Fees) (England) Regulations 2018( 3 ) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 5A (export certification services and pre-export services: fees), in paragraph (4B), for β31st December 2023β substitute β30th June 2025β .
