The National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2023

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 175 and 272(7) of the National Health Service Act 2006( 1 ).

Citation, commencement, extent and application

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2023.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 1st June 2023.

(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales and apply in relation to England only.

Amendment of the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) Regulations 2015

2. —(1) The National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) Regulations 2015( 2 ) are amended as follows.

(2) In Schedule 2—

(a) after “Bailiwick of Guernsey” insert “Bermuda” ;

(b) after “British Virgin Islands” insert “Cayman Islands” ;

(c) after “Norway” insert “Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno Islands” ;

(d) for “St Helena” substitute “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha” .
