The Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 2023

Coming into force

1st July 2023

NHS England with the approval of the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 272(8) of, and paragraph 28 of Schedule 4 to, the National Health Service Act 2006( 1 ).

NHS England makes this Order on the application of the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust following the consultation required under paragraph 28(3) of Schedule 4 to that Act( 2 ).

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 2023 and comes into force on 1st July 2023.

Dissolution

2. The Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust is dissolved.

Revocation

3.The Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1999( 3 ) is revoked.
