The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 18(3) and 19(5) of Council Regulation 1 ).
Citation, commencement and extent
1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (Council Regulation
(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Amendments to the Annex to Council Regulation (EC) No 338/97
2. The Annex to Council Regulation 2 ) is amended in accordance with regulations 3 and 4.
Amendments relating to FAUNA in Annex C
3. —(1) Under the heading “SAURIA”, in the text of the rows relating to Gekkonidae, immediately above the row relating to “ Carphodactylus laevis (III Australia)” insert—
