The Pensions Act 2004 (Code of Practice) (Defined Benefit Funding) Appointed Day Order 2024

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 2004( 1 ).

Citation and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2004 (Code of Practice) (Defined Benefit Funding) Appointed Day Order 2024.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales and Scotland.

Appointed day

2. The day appointed for the coming into effect of the Pensions Regulator’s Defined Benefit Funding Code of Practice is 12th November 2024.
