The Lord Chancellor makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(3) and 41(1)(a) and (b) and (2)(a) and (b) of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012( 1 ).

Citation, commencement and extent

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

(2) In regulation 2(5) (amendments to the Criminal Legal Aid (Remuneration) Regulations 2013( 3 )), in the table headed β€œHigher and Lower Standard Fees table” following sub-paragraph (5) of inserted paragraph 5B (representation in the youth court), in the column headed β€œLower Standard Fee (Β£)”, for β€œ882.47”, substitute β€œ822.47” .
