The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 174 and 331(2)(b) of, and paragraphs 8(4) and 8(5) of Schedule 9 to, the Energy Act 2023( 1 ).

Citation, commencement and extent

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Independent System Operator and Planner Transfer Scheme Compensation (Amendment) Regulations 2024.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 4th March 2024.

(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales and Scotland.

Amendment of the Independent System Operator and Planner Transfer Scheme Compensation Regulations 2024

2. In the Independent System Operator and Planner Transfer Scheme Compensation Regulations 2024( 2 ), in regulation 1(2) (commencement), for “[x]” substitute “5th March 2024” .
