The Health and Care Act 2022 (Commencement No. 9) Regulations 2024

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 186(6) of the Health and Care Act 2022( 1 ).

Citation and extent

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health and Care Act 2022 (Commencement No. 9) Regulations 2024.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

Commencement of provisions of the Health and Care Act 2022

2. Section 169(5) (amendment of the definition of “medical examiner” in section 41 of the Births and Deaths Registration Act 1953 ) of the Health and Care Act 2022 comes into force on 9th September 2024.
