RETAINED EU LAW REFORM

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 22(3) and (4)(a) of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023 (“ the Act ”)( 1 ).

The Secretary of State is a “ relevant national authority ” for the purposes of section 22(4) of the Act( 2 ).

Citation and commencement

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023 (Commencement No. 2 and Saving Provisions) (Revocation) Regulations 2024.

(2) These Regulations come into force on the day after these Regulations are made.

Revocation of Regulations

2. The Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023 (Commencement No. 2 and Saving Provisions) Regulations 2024( 3 ) are revoked.
