The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 5, second paragraph, point (a), of Council Regulation (EC) No 2271/96 of 22 November 1996 protecting against the effects of the extra-territorial application of legislation adopted by a third country, and actions based thereon or resulting therefrom(1).

Citation, commencement and extent

1.โ€”(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Protection of Trading Interests (Authorisation) (Amendment) Regulations 2025.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 28th February 2025.

(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Amendment of the Protection of Trading Interests (Authorisation) Regulations 2021

2.โ€”(1) The table in the Schedule to the Protection of Trading Interests (Authorisation) Regulations 2021(2) is amended as follows.

(2) In row 2, relating to Three Crowns (Services) LLP, in the entry in the column headed โ€œAuthorised Purposeโ€, in the first line, for โ€œ31 March 2025โ€ substitute โ€œ31 March 2027โ€.
